Night to Shine is a one-of-a-kind prom night experience for individuals with special needs, ages 14 and older. This event is centered on God’s love and designed to celebrate the worth and value of every guest. It’s more than just a dance—it’s a night of joy, dignity, and unforgettable memories.

On one night each year, over 720 churches from 36 denominations across all 50 states and 34 countries come together to host Night to Shine for more than 110,000 honored guests. It’s a powerful example of the global Church united in sharing God’s love with those who are often overlooked.

As Tim Tebow describes it, “Night to Shine is a night where people get to understand their worth… that God loves them and that God has an amazing plan for their life.” It’s a night when churches shine, volunteers shine, our guests shine—and most importantly, God shines.

Every guest is welcomed with a red carpet entrance, lined with cheering crowds and friendly paparazzi. Inside, they’re treated like royalty with stations for hair and makeup, shoe shining, corsages and boutonnieres, karaoke, limo rides, food, and of course, plenty of dancing! It’s an evening designed to celebrate and uplift every person who walks through the doors.

The highlight of the night comes when every single guest is crowned king or queen of the prom. It’s a beautiful moment of recognition and joy, symbolizing the truth that each guest is treasured by God and worthy of honor.
